Mirror Safety Backing Film
A safety backing for mirrors — holds fragments in place if the glass breaks.
A self-adhesive backing applied to the back of a mirror. If the glass breaks, the film helps hold the fragments together. We make PE and composite grades; tell us the performance standard your market requires and we will confirm what we can support.
Where it is used
- Mirror manufacturing: apply before framing or shipping.
- Glass processing: add a backing to cut-to-size mirrors.
- Wardrobes and sliding doors: safety backing for interior mirrors.
- Interior fit-out and transport: reduce the risk of loose fragments.
